How It Works

Our Online Programme firstly gives you the essential theory of competency based assessment that you need in order to succeed, and introduces you to two powerful structures – STAR & REDSTaR©

The programme then gives you step by step guidance on how to write strong answers for two example questions – in essence you will create answer templates.

Using these answer templates, you are then able to build strong answers, that will maximise your chance of success, for any competency based question that you may be asked.

The programme consists of 6 courses based on bselected’s 3 Pillars Of Success©: Content, Structure & Delivery.

Content

Structure

– Using The STAR Plus structure to answer behavioural answers
– Videos of what a good answer looks like.
– Using bselected’s unique REDSTaR© structure to answer situational questions.
– Video examples of ‘What good looks like’ so you know what to aim for.
– Build a template that can be used for all answers required.

Delivery

It can be completed in your own time and at your own pace and is suitable for graduates through to director level.

Note: Once purchased you will receive an email to register on the online learning platform. You will have 4 weeks access to the programme from the first time you login into the programme.

1:1 Coaching

How It Works

Our 1:1 coaching is a bespoke consultation delivered over Skype. It comprises of 5 hours coaching, ideally split over two sessions, with a brew!

Firstly it gives you the essential theory of competency based assessment that you need in order to succeed, and introduces you to two powerful structures – STAR & REDSTaR©

You are then given step by step guidance on how to write strong answers for two example questions – in essence you will create answer templates.

Using these answer templates, you are then able to build strong answers, that will maximise your chance of success, for any competency based question that you may be asked.

You will then be coached on the Content, Structure and Deliver of your answers via mock interviews and role-plays, building on the positives in your answers and improving areas that lack impact. As much time a possible will be devoted to this key aspect of your session.

Many of our clients see dramatic improvements in their technique within 60 minutes.
